Doctor & Medical Professional Home Loans: Up to 100% Financing Available

If you’re a doctor, dentist, veterinarian, pharmacist, CRNA, resident, fellow, intern, or another eligible medical professional, buying a home may be easier than you think.
After years of education and training, many medical professionals enter their careers with significant student loan debt, limited savings for a large down payment, or a relatively short employment history. A traditional mortgage may not always recognize the unique financial position of someone beginning or advancing a career in medicine.
That’s where a Medical Professional Home Loan may help.
As a Senior Loan Advisor with PRMG, I can help eligible medical professionals explore specialized home financing with up to 100% financing and loan amounts up to $2 million.
Available Nationwide — Except New York
One of the most important things I want medical professionals and their families to know is that you do not have to live in Washington State to work with me.
I can assist eligible borrowers with home financing nationwide, with the exception of New York.
Whether you’re relocating across town, moving across the country for a new position, completing your residency or fellowship, or accepting an employment opportunity in another state, I can help you explore your financing options.
Medical Professional Loan Highlights
Depending on your qualifications and the property, this program may offer:
• Up to 100% financing
• Loan amounts up to $2 million
• No mortgage insurance required
• Minimum 680 credit score
• Debt-to-income ratios up to 50%
• Fixed-rate and ARM options
• No first-time homebuyer requirement
• Employment contracts may be used to qualify
• Options for eligible residents, fellows and interns
• Financing for other qualified medical professionals
These features can make a significant difference for medical professionals who have strong future earning potential but don’t necessarily fit neatly into a traditional mortgage box.
Who May Qualify for a Medical Professional Loan?
This program may be available to a variety of qualified medical professionals, including:
Physicians (MD and DO)
Dentists (DDS and DMD)
Veterinarians (DVM/VMD)
Pharmacists (PharmD)
Podiatrists (DPM)
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs)
Eligible residents, fellows and interns
Program eligibility and guidelines vary, so I’ll review your individual situation to determine whether the Medical Professional Loan is the right financing option for you.
Starting a New Medical Position? Your Employment Contract May Help.
One of the challenges medical professionals can face when buying a home is timing.
You may have completed your training and accepted a great position, but haven’t started receiving regular paychecks yet. With this program, an eligible employment contract may be used to help qualify, subject to program requirements.
That can be especially valuable for physicians and other medical professionals who are relocating for a new position and want to purchase a home as part of that move.
Why Up to 100% Financing Matters
A large down payment isn’t always the best use of your available cash.
Medical professionals may be balancing student loans, relocation expenses, establishing a new household, building emergency reserves, starting a practice, or simply wanting to keep more money invested or available.
For qualified borrowers, up to 100% financing can provide an opportunity to purchase a home without waiting years to accumulate a traditional down payment.
And because this program may offer no mortgage insurance, it can be substantially different from many traditional low-down-payment mortgage options.
You Don’t Have to Figure It Out Alone
Mortgage financing shouldn’t feel like another medical board exam.
My job is to look at the entire financial picture — income, employment, student debt, available assets, credit, future employment and your homeownership goals — and determine which financing strategy makes the most sense.
And if the Medical Professional Loan isn’t your best option, I’ll tell you. I can compare it with other available mortgage programs and help you determine which approach makes the most financial sense for your situation.
Relocating for a Medical Career?
If you’re accepting a position in another state, I’d be happy to become part of your relocation team.
I can work directly with you, your real estate agent, physician recruiter, relocation coordinator or other professionals involved in your move.
My lending services are available nationwide except New York, so you can have one mortgage resource even when your career takes you across the country.

Let’s See What You Qualify For
If you’re a physician, dentist, veterinarian, pharmacist, CRNA, resident, fellow, intern or another qualified medical professional considering buying a home, let’s have a conversation.
You don’t need to know which mortgage program you need. That’s my job.
I’ll review your situation, explain your options and help you determine whether the Medical Professional Loan is the right fit.
